Terms of service

who we are

This website, hyt.hk, is run by East and West Trading Co (ho yum tea Hong Kong), a Hong Kong company. "We" means ho yum tea. By using the site or placing an order you agree to these terms.

using the site

Use the site for lawful purposes only. Do not try to interfere with its security or gain unauthorized access. You must be at least 18 to buy. Please give us accurate information so we can complete your order.

products

Orders depend on availability. We may limit or cancel quantities, or refuse an order, for example one that looks placed by a reseller or made by mistake. Tea is a natural, hand-packed product. Each pack contains at least the weight listed. Packaging may not look perfect, because it is packed by hand and affected by shipping. We replace an item only if the packaging is torn or damaged, or the content is damaged.

health

Tea is food, not medicine. We make no health claims. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant or take medication, please ask your doctor.

our content

All texts, photos, videos and designs on this site belong to ho yum tea. You may not copy, download, reproduce or use any of them, privately or commercially, without our written permission.

prices and errors

Prices and descriptions may contain mistakes. We may correct them and may cancel an order made on wrong information, with a full refund.

links to other sites

We are not responsible for other websites we link to.

liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the site. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.

shipping and returns

See our shipping policy and returns and refunds page. They are part of these terms.

governing law and disputes

These terms follow the laws of Hong Kong. If there is a problem, write to us first at support@hoyumtea.com so we can try to solve it by email. If we cannot, the courts of Hong Kong decide. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.

changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
