Analyzing cultivar migration and innovative tea baking between Thailand and Taiwan, while focusing on the Mi Xiang 蜜香 effect and traditional charcoal baking.
Investigating the impact of controlled charcoal baking on body and aftertaste, featuring rare aged and traditionally processed wulong varieties.
Evaluating sensory profiles of sun-dried and minimally oxidized teas, prioritizing clean, organic cultivation and the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine.
An exploration of unconventional tea-making featuring five regions, including experimental oxidation batches and a retrospective on wild Georgian white tea.
A study of uncultivated wild tea trees from micro terroirs across Yunnan province, focusing on biodiversity, ancient genetics, and structural complexity.

Part I of the celebrated 10th club edition. Members evaluated challenging, rare batches like "Cat Ear" Xiao Ye Zhong and ancient-tree Shui Xian processed as green tea.
The conclusion of our dual-edition series, featuring a deep dive into non-arbor (Guanmu) cultivars and native Cai Cha varieties, marking 4 years of Blind Tasting Club.
Selection of 5 ball-shaped teas from Northeast Taiwan. Grown naturally without pesticides, they come from 5 different cultivars across a gradual range of oxidation levels.

Why is there a limit on the number of club members?
Seats are strictly limited because we often source rare, low-yield, or experimental batches from farmers exclusively to match the exact number of club members.
Are the teas clean and sustainably grown?
We always advocate for a pesticide-free, sustainable agricultural approach, and our members experience firsthand how these cultivation methods elevate a tea's profile.
While we regularly lab-test our teas, club batches are often exclusive, pre-production discoveries. When revealing new sources, there is often no time or practical reason to test before the gathering, so we rely on the trust established through our fieldwork with the farmers.
When will the next club flight ship?
We release three editions annually, but they do not follow a strict four-month schedule. The exact release dates depend entirely on our active fieldwork, the seasonal sourcing cycle, and our curation plan.
Is shipping included for all club purchases?
Both annual club subscriptions include free worldwide shipping. However, a single trial (1 edition) does not. Shipping for a single trial is charged based on your destination, but you can easily add it to an existing order with other products to consolidate your shipment.
How does consolidated shipping work for extra shop purchases?
Extended (Premium) members receive an upgraded box that fits both the club sampler and additional purchases at no extra shipping cost (up to 20x20x15 cm; shipments exceeding this size may incur an additional cost).
Basic (Standard) members can also consolidate, but only if the added items fit strictly inside the original sampler carton. Otherwise, standard shipping rates apply.
Do I receive a new tasting journal with every flight?
A new journal is included with every second edition. Each notebook contains enough structured pages to fully document two complete club flights.
Should I taste the teas before the live gathering?
Yes. We will ship the flights minimum 1 month before the gathering, and encourage you to taste the teas at home and fill out the journal with your notes and guesses prior to the session.
During the live gathering, we always allocate time for members to share their guesses before the true identities are revealed.
Where do the live club gatherings take place?
All live sessions are hosted online via Google Meet.
How do the live gatherings accommodate different time zones?
To ensure members globally can participate, every live gathering happens twice. We host a morning session and an evening session (China Standard Time) featuring the exact same content, allowing you to join the session that best fits your time zone.
